Remote Learning Information
Seesaw
Seesaw is an online communication and learning platform we use here at Goffs Oak from Nursery - Year 6. Seesaw gives us an opportunity to showcase the learning that is happening in the classroom along with key messages and updates for parents. Currently all our homework is set virtually and can be found on one of the platforms we use. Families are given their own unique code to access the parent section. Seesaw can be downloaded as an app which parents can have on their phones/iPads and notifications come through when the staff post. Children are given their own individual code too which links to their journals. Work can be set through this platform in the instances where children need to access remote learning.
Google Classroom
Google Classroom is an online resource that helps children in KS2 develop their technology skills. This platform is used for homework along with being used to teach the Information Technology curriculum. This platform is used regularly to ensure children are confident using it at home too.
Purple Mash
Purple Mash is a learning tool that covers a wide range of the curriculum and contains virtual activities to support different topics. All children are given a login to Purple Mash when they start their journey at Goffs Oak. It features a Mini Mash area for those children in the Early Years.
