Well-being Ambassadors

Lunchtime Nurture Clubs

Our new well-being team are having a huge impact on school life already!  They have thrown themselves into the role wholeheartedly and the positive effects on the whole school community have already been recognised.

Lunchtime clubs have been well structured and delivered with consideration to the cohort of children with whom they are working and they have been very well received.  What a marvellous start to their new positions in school! 👏🤩

Well-being Wonders!

Our wonderful Well-being Ambassadors have had an amazing year.  They have given so much to to the school community with their ‘tailor made’ lunchtime clubs and mindfulness 🧘‍♂️ sessions across the key stages.

Every single pupil has given themselves wholeheartedly to their role and have left their mark on pupils and staff with their kindness and commitment.  We are sure they will use the skills they have gained to ensure a very successful transition into secondary school and beyond. 🤩

Well-being Lunchtime Clubs

Our Well-being Ambassadors continue to make a positive impact.  They are always sourcing new materials and games to pay.  Through the reciprocal shared activities, the children in their care flourish and this has a beneficial impact on removing barriers to learning and attainment.  We are so proud of each and every one of them for giving up their time to support the positive well-being of the school community. 😊

Lunchtime Friendship Groups

Our lunchtime well-being provision gives pupils a sense of belonging and connection; where positive peer relations and empathy skills are enhanced.

The ambassadors ensure standards are high and demonstrate the correct learning behaviours, whilst creating a positive learning environment.  Currently they offer Lego, calligraphy, arts/crafts, ball skills, sketching and board games/yoga.

The enthusiastic approach by the leaders to source, plan and deliver their sessions has secured a positive outcome for all the participants.

We are very proud of their commitment to our school community and for championing positive social and emotional well-being.

Well-being Team 2022 - 2023

This year the interest in becoming a Well-being Ambassador was overwhelming! Such was the response to the initial application that we have a team of 18 year 6 pupils who are eager to champion positive well-being throughout the school!

They will be running lunchtime clubs, delivering mindfulness across all year groups and supporting staff with a range of activities.  This year they have different area of responsibility, some for the outdoor areas, others for playtime support at the friendship stops in the playground, to name but a few.

Already they are showing themselves to be fine role models for the rest of the school and display superb leadership skills!
