Mindfulness is about giving full attention to something. It is about slowing down to notice what is going on and focusing in a relaxed, easy way.
We practice daily mindfulness to encourage pupils and staff to notice their emotions and consider their breath as they inhale and exhale. Being mindful can help tackle challenging situations and support the development of key skills, such as self-control and focus.
